About Seaside Daycare
I’m Lindsey Holdgate, the owner and provider of Seaside Daycare. I’ve been caring for children on Nantucket since 2009, first as a nanny and now through my own home daycare, which I opened in 2023.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Family Studies from the University of New Hampshire, with a focus on lifespan development and a minor in Sociology.
Meet Lindsey
I wanted to create a place where children feel comfortable, cared for, and right at home. With a small group setting, I’m able to truly get to know each child and provide the individual attention they need to feel happy, supported, and ready to learn and grow.
Why Seaside Daycare
Today, Seaside Daycare is a small home daycare where I get to know each child individually and truly become part of their early years.
With the help of my partner Vic, my mom “Mimi,” and our daycare pups Riley and Callie, we’ve created a place filled with play, creativity, outdoor adventures, and lots of love.
